This is a cutting-edge Special Rifle Threat (SRT) armor plate series that combines the benefits of the best low-visibility armor with light and medium armor piercing (AP) rifle protection. 

It’s so light it can be worn for extended periods in a concealed manner. At the same time, it is reliable enough to protect you against many different kinds of light AP rifle ammo. Due to its focus on both value and quality, it’s less expensive than many other competing products. 

The HESCO L211 Armor Plate: A Great Combination of Protection and Discretion! 

These personal protection plates have been manufactured with advanced composite materials and are highly durable. They have also been coated with water-resistant polyurethane and are available in Cordura fabric finish. As with most other HESCO products, the L211 plates are cost-effective without compromising their build quality. 

They can stop military rifle projectiles ranging from the AK 47’s 7.62×39 Lead Core rounds to the formidable 7.62×39 armor-piercing incendiary round. They can also handle mil-spec AR-15/M4 ammo such as the 5.56×45 M193 standard Lead Core NATO green tips, 5.56×45 M855/SS109 Mild Steel Core (MSC), and their 5.56 M855A1 Enhanced Performance variants. 

At 4.9 lbs., they are light enough to be worn without discomfort and are available in both Single Curve as well as Shooter Cut configurations for maximum comfort. These plates are fully compatible with BI L110 SRT Stand Alone Side Plates to ensure a 360-degree protection zone. The side plates can also be elevated to cover the vital organs against side shots.

Like other HESCO personal protection products, the L211 armor plates are also subjected to a broad range of tests, some of which include the following:

• Tests to determine resistance to fungus, fluid, and chemical agents 
• Kinetic impact tests including ballistic, blast, and stab tests along with fragment tests to ensure protection from different threats
• Operational durability tests such as vibration, impact, and shock tests 
• Various tests to determine flexibility, ergonomics, and comfort
