HESCO 4101 Level IV Standalone Side Plates
The HESCO 4101 provides standalone Level IV protection at 1.9 lb in the 6×6 size. Its documented threat matrix includes M855A1, M80A1, M61, B-32 API, and .30-06 AP M2 along with additional rifle threats. The plate is 1.18″ thick.

HESCO 4101 Level IV Standalone Side Plate
The HESCO 4101 provides standalone Level IV protection at 1.9 lb in the 6×6 size. Its documented threat matrix includes M193, M855 / SS109, M855A1, M80, M80A1, 7.62×54R LPS, B-32 API, M61, and .30-06 AP M2.
We often sell the 4101 with HESCO U210, U211, and 4800 torso plates. It is our lighter Level IV side plate option with the fullest ballistic coverage, but it is thicker than the 4100 and is the most expensive side plate in the lineup.

Threat entries reflect HESCO’s documented threat matrices. “Not listed” means the threat is not listed in the supplied matrix for that plate. It does not mean the plate is documented to fail that threat.
Things to Consider
The 4101 and 4100 both provide Level IV protection. At 1.9 lb in 6×6, the 4101 is 0.4 lb lighter per plate than the 4100. The 4100 is thinner at 0.83″ compared with 1.18″ for the 4101.
The 4101’s documented threat matrix also includes 7.62×51 M80A1. The 4100 has a price advantage, while the 4101 reduces weight and provides the fullest documented ballistic coverage in this side plate group.
The 3110 weighs 1.6 lb in 6×6, only 0.3 lb less than the 4101, but provides Level III+ rather than Level IV protection. The 3110 is slightly thinner at 1.09″ compared with 1.18″ for the 4101.
