HESCO P110 Enhanced Pistol Threat Side Plate

The HESCO P110 provides enhanced pistol threat protection while adding very little weight or thickness to the carrier. The 6×6 weighs just 0.3 lb and is 0.27″ thick. It is standalone and buoyant.

We often sell the P110 with HESCO P210 torso plates, as well as to users who want a lighter, thinner option for pistol threat protection.

Where the P110 Fits

Threat entries reflect HESCO’s documented threat matrices. “Not listed” means the threat is not listed in the supplied matrix for that plate. It does not mean the plate is documented to fail that threat.

Things to Consider

The P110 answers a different protection requirement from the rifle rated plates. At 0.3 lb and 0.27″ in 6×6, it is substantially lighter and thinner than the rifle rated options in this group.

If rifle protection at the sides is required, the 3100 moves to Level III. The L110 and 3110 provide different Special Rifle Threat and Level III+ coverage. The 4100 and 4101 provide Level IV protection.

P110 Breacher’s Plate

The flat 8.5×6 P110 is commonly called a breacher’s plate. It uses the same P110 ballistic specification in a different physical configuration and is sized to fit the Spiritus Systems GP Tall Pouch.

The plate rides on the body side of the pouch, providing enhanced pistol threat protection while leaving the pouch available for breaching equipment. The GP Tall can accommodate the DARC COBB system with two complete initiating systems.
