The HESCO 3110 provides Level III+ standalone rifle protection in a 1.6 lb, 1.09″ thick 6×6 side plate. Its documented threat matrix includes 5.56×45 M855 / SS109 and M855A1, 7.62×51 M80, 7.62×54R LPS, and additional rifle threats.

HESCO 3110 Level III+ Standalone Side Plate
The HESCO 3110 provides Level III+ standalone rifle protection at 1.6 lb in the 6×6 size. Its documented threat matrix includes M193, M855 / SS109, M855A1, M80, .30-06 / 7.62×63 JSP, 7.62×54R LPS, and 7.62×39 API.
We often sell the 3110 with the HESCO 3411, 3612, 3810, and 3811. It provides Level III+ threat coverage while remaining relatively light at 1.6 lb in 6×6, making it a common choice for users who want the additional III+ threats without moving to a Level IV side plate.

Threat entries reflect HESCO’s documented threat matrices. “Not listed” means the threat is not listed in the supplied matrix for that plate. It does not mean the plate is documented to fail that threat.
Things to Consider
The L110 and 3110 are close in weight at 1.7 lb and 1.6 lb respectively in 6×6, but the L110 is substantially thinner at 0.58″ compared with 1.09″ for the 3110. Their documented threat matrices differ. The 3110 includes 7.62×51 M80 and .30-06 / 7.62×63 JSP in addition to threats shared with the L110.
The 3100 reduces the 6×6 weight to 1.0 lb with Level III protection. The 4101 weighs 1.9 lb in 6×6, just 0.3 lb more than the 3110, and moves to Level IV protection. The 4100 is another Level IV option at 2.3 lb and is thinner at 0.83″.
