      Why the EVAK?

A handheld is the most versatile light a professional carries. Built by the Modlite team and built to the same quality standards as the PLHv3 and OKWv2, the EVAK is Modlite’s value handheld, engineered from the ground up for value, whether you are outfitting a department or carrying one for EDC.

You make two choices. First the beam, T1 or G1. Then the size, Core or Mini. Output is the same within a beam regardless of size; the battery only changes how long it runs.

      Choosing your EVAK

Beam. Both are strong. The difference is where the light goes.

      • T1 (throw): a tighter hotspot with less flood, 680 lumens and 69,000 candela, for reach and distance identification.
      • G1 (general purpose): a balance of hotspot and flood, 1,350 lumens and 54,000 candela, for most tasks.

Size. Same output either way. This is a runtime-and-fuel choice, not a brightness one.

      • Core (18650): about 75 minutes on high, larger body, and runs 2× CR123 as backup fuel.
      • Mini (18350): about 35 minutes on high, compact carry. 18350 only.

      Output and runtime

The T1 beam runs 680 lumens and 69,000 candela for reach. The G1 runs 1,350 lumens and 54,000 candela for general use. Admin mode drops to 15% of high, a low usable output for close work, set by a double tap. Runtime depends on size, not beam: Core about 75 minutes on high, Mini about 35. Output is identical across sizes. Core also runs 2× CR123 as an alternate fuel; Mini does not.
