Our founder, Mark S., brings 25 years of law enforcement experience, including nearly 20 years on a large-city SWAT team. That experience informs how we evaluate products, explain their capabilities and limitations, and help customers make equipment decisions.
Some customers arrive with a specific product list. Others want help comparing options or working through compatibility, fit, and configuration. We assist with both, from individual purchases to agency quotes and procurement.

training & product development
SierraTac provides training and consulting assistance to government agencies. Our work includes weapons, tactics, and kinetic/explosive breaching.
Most of our instruction is delivered through the Direct Action Resource Center (DARC), which provides tactical training and program development for law enforcement and government organizations. Mark has served as a DARC instructor for 22 years and is a founding instructor of its Law Enforcement Counter Terrorism (LECTC) program. He continues to instruct DARC courses at multiple locations.
We credit DARC with an important role in SierraTac’s growth and success. The opportunity to work alongside its instructors and the professionals attending its programs continues to shape our understanding of equipment, training, and the needs of those we serve.
Our product development work includes the SierraTac Reverso Sling, offered through Spiritus Systems, and an upcoming patent pending product that Genesis Arms will offer with its shotguns. SierraTac also sells Spiritus Systems products and will be adding Genesis Arms products to our offerings.
