MARS Armament SLR Rail System Overview

• The SLR rail and adapter are a 2 piece system designed to allow mounting of Surefire X200 and X300 lights to a Government model 1911 pistol.
• The SLR rail is attached to the frame via 3 tapped holes and epoxy bedding
• The SLR Adapter replaces the factory locking mechanism on Surefire X200 and X300 lights with “6 bolt” mounting (only).
• Lights not included.

SLR Rail and Adapter – FAQ

Q: What lights will the SLR adapter work with?

A:  SureFire X200 and X300 lights with “6 bolt” mounting- only

Q: Will an SLR adapted light work on a 1913/Picatinny rail like on my AR15 or M4?

A: No, the SLR adapted light will only work with an SLR rail

Q: Can I use my Streamlight/Blackhawk/Insight/SIG/etc. light with the SLR rail?

A: No, the SLR adapter is only compatible with Surefire X200 and X300 lights with “6 bolt” mounting

Q: Can I install the SLR Rail myself?

A: We recommend the SLR rail be installed by a professional gunsmith

Q: What is required to install the SLR adapter?

A: Simple hand tools, a suitable 5/64″ hex wrench should be used.  We have discontinued the wrench inclusion.

Q: Will the SLR work with Surefire X400 lights?

A: No, the SLR only works with Surefire X200 and X300 lights with “6 bolt” mounting
